Use the Web Service stage to access web service operations within a DataStage® flow or job.

Adding the Web Service stage to a DataStage flow

To add the Web Service stage to a DataStage flow, you need to:

From the DataStage palette, drag the Web Service stage icon onto the DataStage design canvas.
Connect other stages, based on whether the web service acts as a data source, data target, or data transformer.
If the web service acts as a data source, complete one of the following steps:
- Use an output stage with a stream link.
- Use a Transformer stage with a reference link.
If the web service acts as a data target, connect an input stage.
