Migrating Web Service Transformer and Web Service Client stages from traditional DataStage
From traditional DataStage®, you can migrate jobs and flows that contain Web Service Transformer and Web Service Client stages.
When you migrate Web Service Transformer and Web Service Client stages into modern DataStage, the stages are automatically converted to the Web
Service stage according to the following attributes:
- If the migrated stage has only output links, then it will act as Web Service Client as a source.
- If the migrated stage has only input links, then it will act as Web Service Client as a target.
- If the migrated stage has both input and output links, it will act as Web Service Transformer.
