You can add a custom text analysis package (TAP) or template directly in the Text Mining
node. When your SPSS Modeler flow runs, it will use your custom asset.
About this task
If you want to share your TAP or template with other users or across teams, you can
download the TAP or template to share it. Other users can then upload the TAP file directly in a
Text Mining node
Procedure
- If you want to download a TAP, save it locally.
- Click Text analysis package while in the Text Analytics
Workbench.
- Enter details about the asset, and then click Submit.
The text analysis package is saved locally as a .tap
file.
- If you want to download a template, see Linguistic
resources.

Add the TAP or template file to another Text Mining node.
- In the Text Mining node, click Select
resources.
- Click the Text analysis package or Resource
template tab depending on the asset you want.
- Click Import , and then browse to or drag-and-drop your TAP or
template.
- Enter details about the asset, and then click Add.
You can now see the uploaded TAP in the list of resources. It is also saved to
your project as a project asset.
- Click Ok.
